Thinking about buying

I'm looking at the Hyundai line up, and like what I see. However, its what I can't see, and don't know that interests me. I'm interested in knowing of any known problems that Hyundai may have in their vehicles. Especially of interest is the major components, like engines, trannys, etc. I like the Santa Fe model and would like to know their track record, as far as engine longivity, reliability, any major problems, basically which one is best? Any problems with rust through in any cretain areas? Any certain paint colors have fading or flaking problems? What to look out for when looking at a used Santa Fe? Any certain years better or worst than others? I prefer Manuals over Automatics, and like in-line 4 cyl. engines. I want to know the good, the bad, and the ugly. Thanks

Get a Honda!

That "warranty" is full of holes, don't fall for it.

I own one (Santa Fe), I ought to know.

own a 2007 Sonata for 6 months now and i've had rust blooms develop continually at the rear of the vehicle. This could be from bad dealer prep and now it's either imbedded in the paintjob or some metal keeps shearing off the car.
