Hyundai 2014 Slow Start and Acceleration
I have a 2014 Hyundai Ellantra, bought it used with low miles. Last time in to the shop they said it needed new battery.
I haven't purchased new battery yet, it had been running fine. The other day I started it and it was hesitating, finally it started, but driving it the acceleration was really off.
Could this be something else other than battery? Fuel filter, or catalytic converter?
Thanks for any ideas.

Yes, definitely something else other than the battery.
What? Don't know. There are many things that can cause this symptom.
Loss of compression, worn rings, clogged exhaust, failing ignition coils, sticky injectors, any of the emissions systems such as EGR If your car has one,
Lack of oil, faulty accessory pulley(s) (alternator, AC, water pump, power steering (EPS??)).
Lets see, oh, TPS sensor, if drive by wire. Idle air control. Just too many things to name all.
