RE: What type of Oil is best for the Excel 99?

In the U.S., specifications call for 10W-30 weight oil for most applications with a minimum API grade of SG or SG/CD. I know Hyundai now recommends using only Hyundai or Kia OEM canister-type replacement filters. Apparently some third party filters had design issues (wrong bypass flow settings) that created oil pressure problems. Tire pressure settings? 205 kPa (30 psi).

Glad to help. I would not pour olive oil in the engine, but leave that on your salad for now.
