CAI System
 

Allways looking for a relatively cost affective way to increase hp. Has any one had any experience with a CAI system for the 07 3.3 Santa Fe? Are there any good aftermarket systems available, or has anyone made their own? Also, I was reading a thread on another forum about someone who plugged the opening for the resonator box with good results. It was an older model, and only had one. I notice that the 3.3 has two. Any thoughts or comments?

i think the question to ask is how much more hp are you looking for? a CAI will usually provide an increase but it is rarely very large. usually around the 5% mark seems to be average for non turbo motors. depending on how bad the airbox is designed, it can be as much as 10% but that isnt too common.
