I am planning to replace my stock exhaust with a new one. What brand should I go for? I would like something not too loud or my wife would have a fit everytime she rides my SUV. I have a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe 2.0T Sport.

 

I know its an old thread, but hopefully TS could read my comment. As I believe there is no readily available aftermarket exhaust for the santa fe. Some owners just fabricate or alter a magnaflow exhaust to perfectly fit there vehicle.

 

I had a Magnaflow professionally/custom installed on my 2011 Tucson 2.4 liter suv. It added mostly a lower exhaust tone that sounded a little throatier, but also a little droney when pushing it on uphill grades. I liked it, but not on long trips. It was mounted on the right rear of the vehicle and tucked up tight. If I had to do it again, I would not on a daily driver or family vehicle, especially if you're over 30 yrs old.

 

I think the stock exhaust is good, may I ask why you want to replace it? Is it damged?

 

I did a mid muffler delete on my 2013 Santa Fe V6 and it sounds great with a little burble. Some drone at highway speeds, but I like to hear the motor. It cost $100 dollars for a better sound, 50 less pounds, and 10 percent increase in mpg.
