07 Accent hesitation when accelerating

Hello,

I have an 07 Accent that is intermittently hesitating when I press on the accelerator. I have scoured the internet for a solution and found none. Most suggestions are to clean MAF Sensor but it seems that the 07 Accents do not have an MAF Sensor. If this is wrong or anyone has any relevant info, I would be greatly appreciative.

Thank you

I would definitely have the vehicle diagnosed but it could be a map sensor. If it is the MAP sensor the part number that your vehicle calls for is 39300-22600. We have it for sale here: SENSOR ASSEMBLY - MAP made by Hyundai. #3930022600

Thank you very much for your reply. Now that you say that, I remember getting it scanned for pending codes and the guy said there was one pending for the MAP sensor. Is this a common symptom for this part failing?

It certainly is, take a look at this link: MAP Sensor.

Here are some simple ideas to look at. Air filter, Clean Throttle body intake, Map sensor as suggested, Spark plugs and wires, spark plugs, ignition coil, fuel filter. Hope this helps.
