I got this 08 Accent hatchback last year brand new and the mileage is 35800km. Today the check engine light was on for unknown reason. I am planning for a road trip from windsor to vancouver, now I can't do it. What is happening?

 

So either take it to the dealer for some warranty work, or get the check engine light scanned for the trouble code. In the US they have places that will scan for free. Don't know about Canada.

 

Just brought it to windsor hyundai today. I got this as follow:

Complaint : Report on engine or malfunction lamp on. Diagnose and repor, pull code and diagnose issues
Cause: Road test to determine system performance, pull codes and inspect and test vehicle systems
Correction: Performed diagnostic, DTC for fuel level sensor "A" All operating at this time, not faults found. Clear code.
