Hi all,

I have a Canadian '09 Accent hatchback. The door sensor in the rear hatch seems to have stopped working. The car doesn't know when the hatch is open or closed. So the cargo area light no longer comes on, and the doors re-lock after you unlock the doors and open the hatch.

Possibly related, the rear-left tail light is now intermittent, and the left license plate light is no longer working.

I have replaced the bulbs and tried shorting the sensor wire to see if it's the switch or the bulbs. It was neither.

I assume that it's a short somewhere in the wire harness. Anyone have any experience with this?
