What kind of problem are you having with the present carb on the vehicle?

Hi , Pls have a look at my thread from 2016. Since then my car has become heavy on fuel to the point that I cannot drive it regular anymore. Just drinks that fuel. https://www.hyundaiforum.com/forum/h...ettings-13808/

Here is information about the original carb. If some can tell me which car in this current day would work best without any mods. The closest I have come to is the toyota 2E carb but it does require a baseplate adaptor and a few pipes to be block off and the wires on the carb to me cut and wired to the hyundai connector. I am trying to avoid that and also seeking out a secondhand original because I know that would also fail in time. So best is to seek a new replacement. Just curious to know if any other manufacturers would work? Mitsubishi, Toyota, Honda even maybe Kia.

Information on the original carb that I picked up from the net as follows
" I have a 1998 Hyundai Accent Sedan (Excel, Pony or Verna) 1.3 L Carbureted vehicle. The carburetor was built by HMC (CHANGWON CARBURETOR IND. CO. Ltd) supplied to Hyundai from the early 1980’s who was an authorized supplier then. The company is now owned by Daelim. I am trying to find out if Daelim still produces those carbs or has the old stock. Alternatively if they have carbs that would work on my car like the HMC one. I’m trying to find out any history about the carb and where I can find new, overhauled or alternatives. "
