2002 Accent Power windows
 

My daughter has a 2002 Accent, 2dr with power windows. Bought it used but started having a problem. Sometimes they would work and sometimes they would not. She thought at one point it was a temperature thing, if it was hot they would not work but now you can't relate it to anything. They work or they don't.

When I say they, it is both the dirver and passenger window. When they are working, they both work, when they are not working they both do not work.

I have checked fuses in the fuse box(none refer to power windows) and have checked the fuses in the relay box under the hood. All seem ok. I even took the 30A from the a/c - heater fan as I knew it worked and put it in the P/window slot but still nothing. I then put the P/window fuze in the fan slot and the fan worked.

When we try the up/down switches, there is no noise like the motors might be running.

Any suggestions?? Is there another relay that could be bad or has now gone out all together?

The windows are down, fair weather predicted for the next few days!! Help !!

Found problem and fixed it. Found another fourm that led me to a tech web site that informed me where there were more relay's to look for. Found them and replaced it.
