2009 fuel fill problem

I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered a problem with getting the gas tank full? If I wait to fill the fuel tank on my 2009 Accent until the low fuel warning light comes on (or anything below 1/4 tank, really) the tank doesn't seem to fill all the way. I always stop filling when the automatic shut off stops the fuel flow, but I've noticed that after the automatic shut off stops the fuel I get fuel that seems to come back up the filler pipe. It's almost like the tank is 'burping'. The fuel level indicator shows full but I definitely drive fewer miles (up to 30 fewer miles) before the guage starts moving downward. Just to see what would happen I've waited a bit at the pump and then topped off the tank a couple of times with as much as a gallon and a half of fuel. It doesn't seem to do this if I fill it sooner than below a 1/4 tank. Any suggestions?

My problem is the 'backup' that occurs after the nozzle shuts off if I let the tank go below 1/4 tank. The needle show full, but there is definitely less gas in the tank than if I filled it when it got down to a 1/2 tank. There are less miles driven before the needle moves off of FULL. Now it could be that it's the start of the problem described in the threads you posted.
