2010 Accent Mass Air Flow Sensor
Hi,
I have a 2010 Accent GLS 1.6L. My car sometimes has a hard time starting., its as if the car was flooded. The car turns over then dies. The problem goes away for a while and then returns. I have read on several threads that the Mass Air Flow(MAF) Sensor might need cleaning. I removed the Air Filter Lid and the hose going to the intake valve and I have not located the MAF. Apparently my car has a MAF, on the fuse panel it shows Fuse No. 28, 10A, has having several functions including the Mass Air Flow Sensor. So, does my car have a Mass Air Flow sensor, and if so, where is it? Thanks, mfm2010acc |
No, your engine uses MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor, not MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor. Totally different.
Get the computer scanned for trouble codes. |
Thanks
Thanks for the quick reply, you no doubt saved me a couple of dollars and a great deal of frustration
