2012 Accent 1.6 gls fuel pump noise
 

Hi everyone,

I bought my son a 2012 Accent last week it now has 1400km on the clock, after filling it up when the fuel warning light came on it started to make a "blowing" noise from the fuel tank and you can hear it clearly if you stand next to the car this is only when the engine is running. I fisrt thought it was a exhaust leak, but putting my ear to the fuel tank underneath the car I can hear it comming from inside the tank. My wife took it to dealer and they told her "not to worry":rolleyes:. Is this normal? :confused::confused:as my 2011 is quiet with no fuelpump noise from the tank.:p
