Does anyone know anything about a CPU software update?? If so, what to do?

Hi Dan,
Can we ask what caused you to inquire about updates?

Sometimes updates are issued to correct certain problems that have surfaced for which no repairs could correct.
That is why I asked if there was a particular reason for the inquiry.
