2016 Hyundai Accent
Hi guys I just bought a 2016 Hyundai Accent with 46k miles. Reading through the manual, it says to change the tranny oil every 60k miles and I believe it also said to change earlier if driven in tougher road conditions. I went to Valvoline to get it changed but they refused to change it because it wasn't at the 60k mark yet. What do you guys think? I feel that the tranny is slipping at times and that's why I wanted to change the oil. Anyone else has had at tranny slips at such low mileage?

I wouldn't change the A/T fluid until 60k, it's designed to last a long time. However, if it's slipping, just changing the fluid won't help. But with that year and mileage, you should still be under factory warranty, so you should take it to a dealer and see if they can duplicate the problem. It's also best if you can ride along with the advisor or technician to point out what your concern is.

2010 Hyundai Accent ECM/PCM
Need some help.
I have a 2010 Hyundai Accent (2 door) that cranks and won't start. Per the local dealer here, it's the engine control module (Part Number 39132-26AL5). Dealership is quoting $1,600 for a new part. They mentioned their the only ones that can program/flash the new ECU.
I researched online, same ECU (refurbish) with same part number is estimating between $60-$100.
Will this work and does the dealership require to program/flash the ECU?
