Accent Fuel Efficiency

Hi there,

I live in the UK with ever rising cost of petrol. The current price is £1.05 for a LITRE! Thats £4.20 for a gallon or $8.40. Thats the way of life here.

I have an accent automatic which used to give 40mpg on the highway. I have fitted LPG on the car and now it gives 63mpg (on LPG) for the equivalent price of petrol.

Anybody have similar experience to share. I would have to drive 20000 miles to recover the cost of fitting the LPG and reap the cost reduction benefits only after that. I do high milage and hence I will soon reach that target.
