Air Troubles 1995

Air Troubles 1995
I’ve got a few troubles with air (1995 Accent) for which I would greatly appreciate advice:
1. The interior blower unit is unresponsive when the lever control switch at the instrument panel is set to 4 (high), but works in 1, 2, and 3. I pulled the same switch from another Accent at a pick-a-part place, installed it, and the problem still persists. So, perhaps it’s not an issue with the switch.
2. The blend-door will not fully close (into the cold position) using the controller at the instrument panel unless the blower is not blowing, regardless of the volume setting (1, 2, or 3). I can manipulate it closed at the lever assembly, at the end of the cable, on the driver’s side of the blower unit (to the right of the gas pedal). Also, there the cable and armature at the instrument panel does not appear to be restricted in any way.
3. The left fan (1 of 2), behind the radiator, comes on when the interior AC **** is depressed at the instrument panel, and the AC was blowing cold air before I started tinkering with these issues. But now I’m not getting cold air at all. I’m just not sure what’s going on, there. Perhaps something is loose, or a fuse? Just don’t know where to start tracking it down.
Thanks in advance for any insights.
