Seriously? Is this a real question? If it is, please go take a class on auto mechanics.

I was debating on whether to answer the question seriously or not. I think some cross-drilled brake lines might be in order... :D

I'm thinking the lowering kit would be sweeeeet!

BTW, i did finally try the B & M shifter in my Accent. For me, the increase in shift effort wasn't worth the reduced throw. I went back to the stock shifter and the B & M is on Ebay. Oh well... worth a shot...

B&M shifter

I bought the B&M shifter online and installed it shortly after I got my 08 Accent. I would definately recommend it! As you know, the standard shifter is sloppy and the reverse clunky. The new shifter replaces the standard plastic shift ball with a smooth machined aluminum ball and shift rod. Their is a 'box' above the shift ball, with a different type lockout tab for reverse. The result is you get more weighted, shorter shifts, and the reverse is closer and not clunky. You'll be real happy with the difference. I also bought the leather shift knob, much nicer than stock. It's an easy install, the only tricky part is you have to cut one push nut (which wasn't designed to be removed), with a dremmel tool. Cheers

Thanks for the reply. Nice to hear about your experience. In my case, i didn't like this shifter. Seems i'm the only one :D

I think I will pass on the shifter kit, I can live with the stock one as-is. If only they had a clutch kit, as that's the worst part of the car, everything else they got right.
