Hi Just had my second service done not at the dealer but at a warranty approved center. When they pulled the dip stick it was black this is with 12260 kilometers on it first service was at 6281k, is this something I should be worried about or do you think it is possible that the dealer didn't change oil on first service. Not real happy with dealer service anyway seem sort of second rate. If anyone has had this could they let me know

Take a look at the paperwork from the first service and see if an oil change is listed. 6000km is a little early to do the first oil change. 12000km is about normal for the first oil change. So even if the dealer did not change the old at 6000km, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Nothing you can do if that service place already changed it. If you were concerned you should have returned to the dealer immediately and shown them the oil. I have read that the oil filter on the accent at one point was tack welded in place from the factory and a biatch to change the first time. Don't know if that is still the case but that may be an indicator for you. Black oil is a really subjective thing and would be near impossible to argue.
