Default Deceleration miss -- need help!

2000 Accent 1.5L SOHC (base model).

Having a problem:

About the closest I can come to describing this problem is a "deceleration miss".

Car starts good, idles good, has power. The problem shows itself after running the car at highway speed 60-65 mph for 10 minutes or so. Then if there is a dip in the road where I will just barely start to ease off the gas pedal then I get what I can only describe as a 'decel miss'. And it will continue to do this somewhat erratically right around that spot. You think you would only get a miss on acceleration -- but not here.

When I get off the highway after 10 minutes or so and drive at regular speeds it goes away. This whole thing is repeatable to and from work.

Car just passed DMV inspection with no problems.

Wires and plugs were replaced last year, but I don't know if that really means much, who knows.

I really can't figure this one out.

This requires a good diagnostician -- help!
