Default Dirty Accent

It ain't that kinky as it sounds... But when I turn on the heating system in the car (not A/C) it often blows in a lot of dirt and some times even a leaf comes in. I imagine that mabye some kind of filter have falled of. I have looked under the hood but don't know there to search for it.

Does anyone in here knows what I can do?

It's a Accent 1997

Don't run the fan at full speed, and don't park under trees. There's no filter.

But it comes all the time, and I rarely park under trees :-(
Do you know where the air-intake are?

You imagine that maybe some kind of filter has fallen off?

Do I know where the air-intake is? Yes, the air enters the system through the vents at the base of the windshield. The area between the windshield and the hood where the windshield wipers park.

If I remember correctly, the X3 Accent (1995-99) does not have a cabin air filter. If it did it would be located in the HVAC system behind the glove box. I believe the LC Accent (2000-05) was the first Accent model to have a cabin air filter.
