Guys, where the H@#l is the fuel filter at on my car?
2000 Hyundai Accent

slide underneath the car, follow the gas lines from the tank to the front, you should spot it.

Its on top of the gas tank I think. I need to replace mine. its the stupidest thing I have ever seen. Let me know all the details.

If it is indeed on top of the tank on a 2000 model it doesn't sound too easy to get at.
But just in case I ever have to change mine , does anyone know where it is located on a 2002 accent ? ? It has the 1.6 engine if that means anything.

I would imagine that since the body style is the same, the filter will probably be in the same place.

It is right on top of the fuel tank. NO PROBLEM
Just remove the bottom of the back seat and you will see a removable plate . Take that off and it is easy to replace the filter or the sending unit or whatever. No need to drop the tank to replace the filter.
