Fuel Mileage
Hi Guys,
New to the forum. I just got a 2003 accent with the 1.6 automatic. Im getting about 600kms to the tank of fuel. Is this pretty much the upper limit or can I get more out of it? Thanks |

Thanks 600kms is 373 miles do the math and you're getting 37 miles per gallon excellent mileage. Edmonds says averaged out you get 32 MPG. I have a 2013 4 door hatchback auto tranny and city & hiway half and I get 32 to 34. Now have 30K miles on it every 5 or 6 K I put in a can of SeaFoam with a fill up. I don't baby it and don't abuse it I just hot dog it and enjoy it. Best I ever saw on the computer we were on I-95 running a steady 75 mph on cruise control flat road near Savannah, GA mileage eased up to 44 MPG blew my mind. Gas here is now $1.75 a gal best we have seen in a long time. Enjoy your Accent and drive safe. |
