Fuse box Diagram 2000

Things just get better and better. My friend says he'll install a CD player for me, and he's good for it, I know he is. I've seen him install EVERYTHING in cars. But he slipped and touched Power to Ground and POP! So now I've blown a fuse or two. Now, I've replaced the fuses, that's easy enough to fix. But I realized that I don't have a chart showing me which fuse goes to what.

So now I'm stuck with a CD player that isn't installed because I need to buy it's fuse, and the paranoia in the back of my mind that somewhere along the line, I'll be replacing a fuse, drop it, and never find the right hole again.

Anyone with a 2000 accent out there be able to take a picture of the sticker that's SUPPOSED to be on the inside of the fuse compartment and post it? I'd be eternally greatful.

See, this is exactly why I wouldn't take a Sonata even if you gave me one: Nobody has stuff even as basic as a fuse diagram. I have to maintain a 2000 Sonata as well as two 2004s. Never again, never again.

these diagrams are for the 1.5L accent, may be different if you have the 1.6L engine. do you not have the owners manual? it should have this information. also i'd recommend you get an account at www.hmaservice.com (its free) as its an excellent source for free service information and procedures. thats where i got this. i apologize if its out of order.

tomcat, please go hang yourself. how does your reply help anything here? someone ban him.

It should be fuse #14 under the dash.

The new aftermarket head unit will have its own fuse, either inline or a spade fuse on the back. Don't forget to check this fuse before you finish installing the unit. I've learned the hard way what a pain it can be to pull a new unit back out of the dash because it didn't work only to find that fuse got fried in the mishap.

same thing happened to me when my friend was installing my deck, the audio fuse will be the fourth fuse down on the farthest right column, it's a 10A fuse. There should also be a fuse on the deck you're installing. if you want an actual picture of the fuse panel i can email it to you
