I have a good question . Can anyone tell me if 124 through 150 miles per tank full till empty is proper for the accent ?

It only has 4,700 something miles on it and they are all short trip miles .[:@]

 

Hey.. are you doing a lot of stop and go.. ???

I have a 1997 Accent.. with 82,000 miles on it.. on a full tank of gas.. I get about 260 miles to the tank..
but I drive usually 16 - 18 miles.. with very little stop and go.. usually 40 - 60 mph.

Have you checked your fuel filter line..

 

Yikes!......is this a new accent......if so.........are ya driving with one foot hovering over the brake pedal?.........I only ask cuz thats way outta line milage wise the tank is at least 11 gallons , and at an average you should be getting about atleast 26 to 28 around town so that should put ya at the 270 mile min area so I recomend ya get yer lil car to the dealer and let them get a look at that cuz it's a warranty issue
