Hi guys i'm new to the forum and i need help
 

As i said in the title i need some help from you guys ,the thing is that i have a 2007 accent and i need to change the spark plugs for a set that i bought on ebay that they said will make the car perform better, but i can't find the place where the plugs are ,so i need help with this; another thing is that i'm trying to improve the engine performance because my car lately has been waisting more gas than usual ,so if any of you guys nows haw to help me please do.Thank you .

They are hiding under the individual ignition coils (aka, ignitors, item #16) protruding from the top of the cylinder head assembly.

just FYI i highly doubt the plugs are going to do jack for you. most of that stuff (if not all) is a complete scam. sorry:( but hey u have them, so worth a shot.

a good performance mod thats cheap is to make your own short ram intake out of 3" ABS drainpipe (do NOT use PVC!!!) and stick a GOOD cone filter on it. probably won't help economy any but hell cant have it all.

EDIT: before i forget, when you replace the plugs take your time as to not damage the threads in the aluminum head. do it when the engine is cold, put some anti-seize lubricant on the plug threads and some dielectric grease on the end where the wire connects. this stops wires from seizing on your plug and stops the plug from seizing in the hole. take your time and be gentile (assuming you're a novice here, my apologies if not) and do not over tighten.
