Default High mount brake light question...

I have 3 LED lights that need to be replaced on the high mount brake light, but I can't figure out how to get the cover off to change the bulbs...anyone know how to do this? Need it to pass my PA inspection... [&:]

What year is the car? It might still be warranted. If the whole thing is out, though, it is more likely bad wiring than bad LEDs. LEDs don't really burn out like light bulbs do. And in places where there are multple LEDs, it is rare for them to burn out all at the same time unless it is a wiring thing.

It's a 2007 so it is under warranty...I will have to ask the dealer if they will cover it. If they don't...do you have any suggestions on how to get the cover off?

I can try to look it up and figure it out. But if it's an 07, it really should be handled by the dealer. I think bulbs are covered for the first year.

I have to change the bulb in my 02 accent and was wondering how to get at them as well. Looks like the whole unit has to be taken off, but I am not sure. Anyone have any ideas?

that sounds like a factory problem, take that 07 back to the dealer and let them change it... if they wont, there are screws on the outside of the light housing, look up from underneith, you will see them
