How to remove 05 Accent steering wheel?

I want to install the GT steering wheel on my Accent. How do I remove the steering wheel?

I know you have to disconnect the battery for 10+ minutes before you disconnect the air bag.

I looked behing the steering wheel and I seen two star headed bolts but it looks like they hold the air bag in place and I suspect there is a nut holding the wheel on.

How do you get the front horn cover off?

You know you will lose the air bag by installing that wheel and you will cause an error in the airbag system that will cause it not to function properly. You should first check the legality of doing so. I'm sure your insurance provider will have something to say about that.

Why would you risk your safety by removing the airbag?

I agree with Novaresource that permenently removing the airbag is a very bad idea, but I suspect you have already made up your mind to proceed. So...

Once you remove the two bolts holding the SRS module in place, I believe the horn cover and module come off as one piece. You can use a volt meter to observe the voltage drop from the capacitors across the disconnected battery leads. I would let it sit 15-20 minutes and check for voltage just to make sure the capacitors are fully discharged.
