Default A/C Thermostatic Switch

The compressor works fine initially after the car has been setting for a bit. After a few minutes the compressor starts short cycling then stops completely. There is enough r-134A in the system and jumpering the High/Low pressure switch does not help. I think the culpret is the thermostatic switch in the evaporator. How hard is it to replace the thermistor? Does someone have a part number for it?
