Hyundai Accent engine confirmation
 
I have a 2000 Hyundai Accent GL 1.5 Liter which overheatedand is no good anymore, I looked at ebay for a used engine they list the fitment the engine will fit the car with the Vin numbers eight digit my eight digit is a G and I looked on ebay and they list a engine I found that has the eight digit N this engine is a four cyl with a 1.5 Liter SOHC that fits the years from 96,97,98,99, could it be possible to swap this engine does anyone have any sugestions or opinions, or know something about this issue?

You have the Accent LC model, which was new for 2000. The 1999 is the X3 model. I wouldn't expect it to fit, but I have no other info.

Why don't you try car-part.com? It will show you junk dealers in your area, give you prices, etc. You can call around. Ebay cost a fortune to ship an engine.

Do you think a 2001 hyundai Accent 1.6 liter engine with Vin eight digit C will fit a 2000 Hyundai Accent GL 1.5 liter?

My guess is that it will fit, I don't really know.
