fram filters are nowhere near as good as oem filters for the simple fact that they are incredibly restrictive and dont offer the same filtering capabilities as hyundai ones and for the price are just not worth it imo.

Youre right.......the Hyundai filters look a whole lot different in the inside than the Fram ones....i just put one on even though i liked Fram filters from using them on vehicles from the past.

Default oil filters

I work for FRAM. Let me take a minute to clear some things up. Our filters EXCEED OE performance by a wide margin. The dealer cannot void your warranty because you use an aftermarket filter, take a minute to become familiar with magnussen moss warranty act. The only way they can make you use the OE filter is give it to you for free. They could void your warranty if the engine failed and the CAN PROVE the filter caused the failure. If by a one in ten million chance that happened, FRAM would cover repairs period. This is nothing more than dealership money grab, period.

Let's see, you say you work for Fram but on the Jeep Wrangler Forum you say you are a tech manager at Prestone:
http://www.wranglerforum.com/f5/coolant-help-61620.html
And you own a '67 Mustang and a '04 CTS-V
http://www.wranglerforum.com/members...ing-17670.html

But on the Ford F150 Forum you say you are a tech manager at Autolite spark plugs:
http://www.f150online.com/forums/v8-...ml#post4542651
And there you own a '67 F150
http://www.f150online.com/forums/mem...motorking.html

Which is it?

Fram filters suck and this thread is 7 years old. Closed.
