RE: leak? smoke?
Sounds as though your valve cover may be starting to develope a leak. I would guess it's oil your seeing seeping out.
Good Luck, Brant |

RE: leak? smoke?
You'd have to remove the valve cover and replace the gasket between the valve cover & the head.
Not too difficult to do, just take your time, get a repair manual from the library or auto parts store. Read up and again just take your time. Sometimes you'd be surprised just how simple a procedure is. Good Luck, Brant |
RE: leak? smoke?
Sarge is right your valve pan gasket is shot, same thing happened to mine. It is a simple fix, very cheap. Just unbolt the pan and lift off the gasket. Put the new one on and tighten the pan back down.

RE: leak? smoke?
The valve cover gasket is probably the easiest gasket to replace on the engine. A few bolts and that's it. Good luck and happy wrenching.
