All about the 2003 accent
 

The 2003 accent gl might be an ugly tiny car but I drive 1200 miles a week and just recently hit 230k. 300k coming soon. This car will hit 1m miles. ** I treat my accent like a baby, oil change every 2400 miles and top all the fluids off weekly. New tranny at 200k miles as a present but it wasn't a necessity.

2000 Accent
 

Red Rover is at 532 500 km (approx. 333 000 miles). Oil changes every 25 000km and I put anything in it. Sometimes light diesel oil sometimes 20/50 mineral oil but usually 15/40 semi/ synthetic. So far Red has had 1 fuel pump, 1 left side CV joint, 1 second hand steering pump, 1 second hand alternator,1 new clutch and gets a new water pump every 100 000k with the new timing belt. HA!!! Doesn't blow smoke or drip oil and drives straight - never had a wheel alignment - despite hitting a roo last year. I would also recommend Continental tyres. I don't know what the new 13" Eco3s are like yet but the old ContiComforts got 120 000k out of the front per set and 315 000k out of the back. I don't rotate largely because Red gives me no reason to.

Longevity of Hyundai Accent
 

I have a 2006 Hyundai Accent GLS automatic transmission and it just passed 202,000 miles and recently failed emissions, so I'll probably let it go and move on to new used car.

I have a 2009 Accent, auto trans, with just over 230,000 miles. The timing belt broke at about 95,000 miles and cost lots to fix. I'm due for another belt, so I'm accepting cash donations :D

According to the manual, timing belts should be changed every 60,000 miles. That’s a very high cost “maintenance” item! I change it every 70,000 miles. Now I’m really glad I didn’t let it go till 100,000miles! :) My 2008 Accent has 170,000 miles.

I have a 2004 Accent 2 door sedan base model with a manual transmission. I’ve had it since October 2007 when it had 42,000 miles on it. I just hit 220,000. It has no leaks. The engine oil is clean. It gets changed every 2800-3000 miles. I put Sea Foam in the crankcase a day or two before I get the oil changed. I put a bottle of fuel cleaner in the gas tank about every 4th or 5th fill up. Timing belt was changed at 100,000 and 185,000. Tune up at about every 35,000 miles. Could it hit 250,000? We will find out
