How do you remedy this, it ticks till the car gets somewhat warm .I was told that by using this oil might of loosesned some up some crud.Once the car is up to temp you dont hear it,only when its cold and I live in the Pacific Northwest . Im on my third oil filter within the past 4 days .I know its causing wear on the vavle train. How do you fix it?

2003 hyudai accent 1.6 71000 miles

Sorry, I don't think you can "fix" it. Revert back to detergent mineral oil, add some heavy oil treatment, and drive around until it works itself out. How dirty was it inside the valve cover? Did you have gunk on the oil cap?

No gunk on oil cap,i have not taken off vavle cover, what I did was I put 5/30 mobil 1 in the car. I was told to use 5/30 by a couple of Hyundai techs at different dealerships .I m gonna see how it starts tommorow
