Hello guys, this is my first post, I purchased a 2002 accent gsi (56000kms) automatic, two months ago, the problem is two weeks ago i noticed that when i start the car the rear tail lights come on with the daytime runners, if i lift the ebrake the daytime runners aswell as the rear tail lights will turn off, and when i let the ebrake down the tail lights and daytime runners will turn back on!!!, very strange...... is it safe to assume that there is a closed circuit short in the light switch or would their be a wire touching ground somewhere along the line???? , I just wanted to know if anyone has encountered this problem or has heard of such a problem.

 

wow do i feel like an idiot!!!, i spoke with a few other accent owner's and they said that this is normal, this is my first foreign car so i am not to familiar with them!, i feel relieved and embarrassed at the same time, keep up the good work, your group is awesome

 

Daytime running lights for the back...... like the Audi rear fog lights.
