Default Anyone know how to get rid of the bell?

Can anyone tell me, or for that matter can anyone tell me how to get rid of the annoying bell that ding's when you have the key in?

you mean when the key is in and your seltbelt isn't buckled? cuz that is one ****ing annoying bell! if you figure out how to shut it up please let me know

Here's what I found in the manuals:

Through 2005. It looks like it is under the dash on the left side. You maybe be able to reach it from underneath without removing the Crash Pad (trim piece under the steering wheel):

2006 and later. You may have to remove the glove box:

Default Anyone know how to get rid of the bell?

I've taken that damn thing out myself and the quickest way to do it without the manual is to prop your door open with your key in the ignition and look under the steering wheel. I had to lay on my back to see it, but if you listen carefully you can pinpoint it. I placed my finger on various connectors until I fount the one that was vibrating with iritating dinging and disconnected it like I would any other electrical connector. Keep in mind that the chances of you needing a jump from leaving you headlights on will drastically increase. good luck
