Default Shifting trouble

I have a 2001 accent GS, for awhile now whenever I accelerate my car won't shift up. It usually happens when I'm going between 55-70 mph and I have to shove it into neutral really quick to get it to shift. Does anyone have an idea as to what could be the problem?

When was the last time you had the transmission fluid & filter changed. It might be just as simple as that.
Good Luck,

Ive had that touble with 2 accents now. A 97 and 00. Automatic right? Well if it is its more than likely a soleniod in the transmission that is going out. Also if it is auto DO NOT put Redline MT-90 75W90 in it. It takes dextron III.
