Default Where Is The Oil Pan Drain Plug??

Yesterday, I was to change the oil inour 1.6 liter2007 Accent. I accidently drained the tranny; the pan looked just like an oil pan!

Anyway, I see two other plugs that look nothing likeany oil pan I've ever seenand want to be certain I get the correct one.

I believe it is on the passanger side, cast aluminum with cooling louvers in the bottom, close to being under the oil dipstick with the drainplug facing rear. Is that the oil pan?

I accidently drained the tranny
Did you pour what came out back into the transmission? or buy new transmission fluid? If this car has an automatic transmission, be aware that Hyundai uses a proprietary ATF called SP-III developed by Mitsubishi. Nothing else, including so called "universal fluids", are compatable.

Yep. It needs to be SP-III.

Carnac the Magnificent isn't a member here. Please tell us what car, model year and transmission.
