Locking with key
 

I have an immobiliser fitted to my 2005 Atos Prime, but the alarm goes off for no reason, so I have been locking it with the key. Now I find that the key does not want to turn in the lock and I have to wiggle it about. Does this have anything to do with me not using the remote?

The mechanism is either in need of lubrication or may have a malfunctioning part. Try lubing it first.
