Over-heated Atos
 

Hallo Everybody

Is it advisable to fit new piston rings to an Atos engine that has overheated and blown its head gasket ? The car has done 60 000 kms.

If one does not fit new rings, and the car uses 500 ml oil per 1000 km, can this be regarded as acceptable ? My Atos is gently driven by my wife and does not use any oil between 10000 km oil service intervals.
