Hello, can someone tell me what this is on my Hyundai Atos? it has started dripping lots of water. By it's bent rubber hose it looks like overflow water which is directed away from main components. But what is it, and should it drip so much water?

if you are looking under the hood (bonet) it is on the back face (under the windscreen) and the left hand side above the altinator. it comes out of the back wall and bends to the floor (directing the water away from the altinator). it is a black rubber hose which is fitted over a plastic pipe.
you can see it shown in these pictures circled in black and then white.

please help you clever people, as you can tell i am not that good with motors.

 

Thats your A/C drain, it should drip water when the A/C is running. If the humidity is high water can flow like a small stream. It's NORMAL.

 

Yep, normal. I remember when I first got my Ford Tempo back in 1984... I saw it dripping and thought my car was dying!
