06 Azera - need help with purchase please
 

Hi and thanks for offering this board!

I'm interested in buying an 06 Azera from a private seller and wanted your guidance on a few items below and the common issues with this year model. I'm willing to do some intermediate repair work. Thanks in advance!

125k, Limited
NJ 1 owner stored in garage mostly
asking price 3k, offered 2200 and conditionally agreed on 2400

Known issues by importance

1. photo shows what looks to be a head gasket leak on the manifold but I'm not familiar with the engine
2. rear shade broken - replacement cost and effort?
3. trunk release broken
4. tape over driver door jam to depress interior light switch
5. mushy brakes - assume needs new pads or bleeding, didn't check the rotors
6. minor trim items missing
7. wear/tears on a couple handrests
8. hood support missing or broken

Even if that car was fully loaded with every option available, in that condition I wouldn't pay more than $2k in my opinion. Bail and look elsewhere.

I think I can get it for 2k, 2100. valve cover leak is not a big repair but the rear shade could be a bit of work it seems.
