Hyundai Coupe VIN Details
 

Hi folks,

Can someone give me details of how to identifiy the details on the VIN of my 1997 manufactured coupe?? This is due to the fact that, although I bought my Coupe as a 2.0 liter model, (and is insured and taxed as a 2.0l model)I have found NO reference whatoever about 2.0 L models in the basic trim. My vehicle has rear disc brakes and the basic 'grey-canvas' interior upholstery but no abs or electric mirrors as the FX labeled models. It also has black plastic handles and mirrors. Could my model be a [:'(]1.8 liter?

Thanks. I just bought a 2002 Hyundai Sonata 2.0EF AT sold in malaysia with a 2.0 DOHC Sirrius II engine.

I am really looking forward to enjoy many years with this car.

thanks for posting the info about the coupe, i've been also searching for this...but i got to admit that this one's post i better compared to the link posted by taxsingam...
