Gen 1 coupe 'y' reg when turning key in ignition it turns over without firing, and then whilst still turning key i hear the anti-theft ignition cut off bleeping, an ideas of how to get it running so i can get it to a garage? Linda

 

SE Coupe 2001 is their away of disconnection immobiliser incase that is why its not starting. Turns over as usual but does not start.(normally fires straight away) Also could it be the auto-choke how do you check its working. Help please Lin

 

Take it to a mechanic. There is no choke on a fuel injected engine.
