08 Premium sound speaker removal

So im swapping out the "premium sound" system in my elantra for my own alpine system. I ran into the problem of the door speakers though. They are riveted in, is this normal? How would you guys go about removing them?

Drill out the rivets and use nuts and bolts for the new speakers.
