1999 elantra fuel pump issue
hello, i am new to this forum, i am having trouble starting my 1999 elantra, it turns over but does not start, the car was in my garage for almost a year and the battery was out so i brought it and got it recharged. car turns over but nothing. i sprayed some stuff into the the fuel assembly and the car started but as soon as i stopped spraying it stalled. this all happened before and i changed the fuel filter and put in a new fuel pump and it ran but i let it sit for too long i guess. been trying to check if its getting power but i honelslty cant get the damn fuel check connector off, is there a known way to take the connector off i dont want to break anything and i do want to check everything before changing out the fuel pump again. i tried listening for the pump when i turn the key and i hear and feel nothing. Any help would be appreciated. could it be that the batterie is just not charged enough, the car does turn over and its not a slow turn over. thank you for all your help
