2001 Elantra starter replacement

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

PROBLEM
2001 Elantra GLS AT 180k miles
Battery has been replaced. Tested at AutoZone, battery is good, alternator is good, starter is good.
Car will start numerous times then will not start. Turn the key, get a click, no turnover. Able to be jump started without a problem. Turn car off, restart a few minutes later without a problem.

SUSPECTED SOLUTION
Recently replaced purge valve for emission problem and starter appears to be in line with the purge valve directly below? What is the easiest approach to replace the starter, above or below engine? I have read to remove air filter intake and approach that way. Seems to be a bit crowded.

Any experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
