2003 Elantra Radiator Leak

I have a leak on the radiator and it seams to be coming from the cap. The cap doesnt seem to be fitting that tight. So I changed the radiator cap and topped off the fluid once again and checked it after I got it hot and it still looks like its spewing from under the radiator cap. The new cap doesnt seem to fit tight also but the radiator seems to hold pressure. Is there something I am overlooking? Maybe a bad radiator? I could use some help.

Look at fill neck where rubber seal on cap rests... is it all melted away ?

Should have a well defined clean raised ring around the opening.. poorly kept system will errode the seal ring off...

Beware of hidden radiator leaks!

At 106,000 miles my 2003 Elantra GT sedan developed a serious radiator leak which was hard to detect. It was replaced for about $300 and I have not had a problem since (128,000 miles) The is the ONLY major repair I have ever made to this car so I am still well-pleased.
