Yesterday was the one month anniversary of the accident that totaled my 2004 Elantra. The guy I hit got a ticket for not stopping at the stop sign but my car was still destroyed. I put 95000 miles on that Elantra and it never let me down. I replaced the belts at 60000 miles and put a new set of tires on it at 88000 miles, but the clutch and brakes were still original. The only other thing that broke was headlight bulbs. It was the best car I ever owned and I miss it. I hope the 2008 Sonata I replaced it with will be as good a car.
