Default 2005 Elantra "jacking" location

I own a 2005 Hyundai Elantra, and I just wanted to verify that I'm jacking up the car in the right place...

should I be using that thin metal bar that spans across the sides...located about 6" from the outside edge?

Thanks

The jacking points should be noticeable right along the underside of the rocker panels. In my domestic small cars there are bumps about 1cm in diameter that the jack would rest around so if the car moved the 'bump' would hold the jack in place. If you can't see them use your hand. The jacking points are generally 3-6" inwards toward the middle of the vehicle for each axle.
